Ying Hei Road (迎禧路) is a road located in Tung Chung North, Islands District, starting from Man Tung Road and Ying Tung Road in the east and ending at Yi Tung Road and Tung Chung Waterfront Road, which is a separated two-way east-westbound road.
History[]
Ying Hei Road, as an extension of Tung Chung Waterfront Road, was gazetted on 24 December 1999[1] and opened to traffic around the following year.
On 2 September 2002, the first generation NLB Route 37A was introduced as the first public transport service via this road, and on 21 October, Citybus Route E21A and LWB Route E31 were introduced and re-routed respectively as the first external routes via this road, except for the first bus stop, which was added on 1 April 2016, respectively.
To tie in with the further development of Tung Chung East, Ying Hei Road has been extended to the newly constructed Hiu Tung Road, which was gazetted on 25 July 2025[2] but has yet to be opened to traffic.
