History[]
Yau Man Investment Limited started out as a New Territories minibus operator. Based on current route information, the earliest route operated was Route 99 (Riviera Gardens ↔ Tsuen Wan Ferry), which came into service in late 1990.
In 1997, Yau Man won the bid for Route 77 (Tin Shui Wai ↔ Lok Ma Chau) in the name of its subsidiary, Extra Billion Investment. Due to the huge demand for public transport by cross-boundary commuters from Lok Ma Chau, coupled with the fact that this route is faster than the buses, it has become the mainstay of Yau Man's investment since then, but since the opening of the Shenzhen Bay Port and the Futian Port, it has experienced a drop in patronage; and the suspension of Route 77 since the closure of the Lok Ma Chau Control Point due to the new type of Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic from 2020 onwards left only Routes 77A and 77B remaining in service, and the entire group of routes ceased to operate in March 2022 thereafter.
In addition to the above routes, the New Territories routes operated by Yau Man Investment and its own subsidiaries include 26, 46, 105, 310M, etc. Yau Man has also acquired Eternal Loyal Limited, which operates only New Territories GMB route 41.
In addition to the New Territories routes, on 5 November 1995, Yau Man Investments launched the Kowloon routes 65, 66S and 67, and in 1998, it took over the operation of the Kowloon GMB Route 1, but only Route 66S remains in service as of now.
In the 2020s, Yau Man has also been actively bidding for routes that have been abandoned by other operators, and has taken over a group of New Territories GMB routes in 2020 and 2024 under the names of "Triple Kind" and "Yau Ho Enterprise" respectively.
