YOHO Mall Transport Interchange (形點交通交匯處[Remark 1][Remark 2])[1] is an indoor public transport interchange located at the base level of Grand YOHO Development (i.e. the ground floor of YOHO Mall I extension), adjacent to MTR Yuen Long Station and Sun Yuen Long Centre at 9 Long Yat Road, Yuen Long Old Town, Yuen Long District, New Territories.
A traditional single file parallel platform design is adopted at this PTI. It has a total of 7 platforms, among which 3 platforms, also dual-lane lay-bys, are used as en-route stops for franchised buses and are named "YOHO Mall I" (形點I). The other lay-bys are used by cross-boundary coaches, green minibuses, taxis and public vehicles, however no green minibuses are currently using this stop.
This stop has several vehicular accesses, with the access at Long Yat Road reserved for franchised buses and green minibuses only. Other vehicles may use Castle Peak Road - Yuen Long or Long Ming Street to access the PTI or the housing estate.
History[]
The terms of the estate's lease stipulate that the developer must construct a transport interchange and provide bus stop facilities within it. The building plans for this transport interchange were reviewed by the Buildings Department, Transport Department and relevant authorities, and subsequently approved by the Buildings Department.[2] The relevant bus stops were originally situated opposite the Grand YOHO Development site on Castle Peak Road - Yuen Long and Long Yat Road. The property development project relocated the bus stops to the transport interchange established within the development and widened the eastbound carriageway of Castle Peak Road towards Kowloon to a dual-lane configuration. This arrangement mitigates the impact of bus passenger boarding and alighting on the affected road section while enhancing overall traffic flow along Castle Peak Road - Yuen Long.
Grand Yoho Phase 1 was completed in April 2017, with the ‘YOHO Mall Transport Interchange’ at its podium opening ahead of schedule on 8 January and all bus routes previously served by stops opposite the development site were relocated to this interchange[3][4][5][6][7]; however, the KMB bus stop pole retained the prefix CA07 representing Castle Peak Road, and indicated the stop direction as northbound.
Beyond the transport interchange, the Cross-Border Ticket Office and VIP Lounge on the first floor of the YOHO Mall I extension commenced full operations. Eternal East Bus operates several cross-boundary coach routes to destinations in Shenzhen including Huanggang Port, Bao'an Airport and Shenzhen Bay Port.
To accommodate property development works at Yuen Long Station, KMB Route 53 relocated its terminus from Yuen Long Station to this stop from 22 December 2019. Originally a temporary arrangement[8], this later became a permanent measure, marking the station's inaugural status as a regular route bus terminus[Remark 3] and was designated the name "YOHO Mall (Yuen Long)" (元朗形點).[Remark 4][9] To facilitate the second phase of bus route reorganisation following the opening of the Tuen Mun - Chek Lap Kok Tunnel, Long Win Bus (LWB) introduced special services on Route E36 between YOHO Mall and the airport, terminating at this stop for services bound for Yuen Long. These special services have since been discontinued following the introduction of Route E36S.
Surrounding facilities[]
The bus stop is located at the base level of Grand YOHO Development. South of the interchange is the entrance of Grand YOHO clubhouse, and beside the northern exit at Long Ming Street is Yuen Long Town East Community Hall. Beside the drop-off area at lay-by 1 is the entrance to YOHO Mall I extension, where passengers can connect to 1/F of the shopping mall and access MTR Yuen Long Station and LR Yuen Long Stop via the the escalator.
Sun Yuen Long Centre and YOHO Mall II are also accessible via the YOHO Mall I extension.
Route information[]
Please note that the stop may be temporarily or permanently altered at any time due to other factors (e.g. road works).

Related incidents[]
- 25 September 2018: At around 8:00 a.m., the fire sprinkler system at this station kept spraying water, turning the station into a zony land with puddles of water on the ground floor, which made it necessary for vehicles to wade through the water.Yoho Mall service office said that the closed-circuit television (CCTV) had captured the incident of a person intentionally pressing the fire alarm bell, and the sprinkler system was activated immediately, and staff members did not find any fire alarms or fires after checking the fire alarm bells, and they had taken the initiative to ask the police to investigate the incident. Upon receipt of the report, the police found that the activator of the fire alarm had been broken and the case was classified as criminal damage.[10]

- ↑ Although KMB Routes 68R and 254R use this stop as their terminus, they are not regular routes, with the former only serving Tai Tong during the foliage season and the latter only serving Shek Kong Barracks on open days.
- ↑ During early days of Route 68R's introduction, the stop was once named "Yuen Long (YOHO Mall I)" (元朗形點I) or "Yuen Long (YOHO Mall)" (元朗形點); subsequently, after the relocation of Route 53 to this stop, the stop name for Route 68R was unified as "YOHO Mall (Yuen Long)" (元朗形點).
- ↑ Daily trips before 09:00 depart from Long Ping Station.
