Wong Tai Sin BBI - Wong Tai Sin Temple (黃大仙轉車站－黃大仙廟) bus stop is located outside Temple Mall at Lung Cheung Road, Wong Tai Sin District, Kowloon, and is an en-route stop on the eastbound and westbound lanes:

• The eastbound stop (Coordinates: 22.3418N, 114.1920E; location see map:  ) is located outside the Temple Mall North and Lung Cheung Office Building, near the Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple, opposite Lung Lok House of Lower Wong Tai Sin Estate, and behind Exit B1 of Wong Tai Sin MTR Station;
• The westbound stopis divided into two stops: the front stop (Coordinates: 22.3416N, 114.1944E; location see map:  ) is located outside Wong Tai Sin Centre South Pavilion; the rear stop (Coordinates: 22.3416N, 114.1955E; location see map:  ) is located between Temple Mall South and Muk Lun Street Playground.

The eastbound stop is located on a separate carriageway on the left side of the main carriageway of Lung Cheung Road, separated by a stone curb, the whole of which is a bus lane in force from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight. Currently, this stop is the return point of the circular route of KMB Route 211, and section fares also begin here for individual routes at this stop. KMB has combined this stop, Shatin Pass Road and Wong Tai Sin Bus Terminus to form the "Wong Tai Sin BBI", with eastbound stop numbered "B" and westbound stops numbered "C" and "D".

Citybus calls the eastbound and westbound stops Wong Tai Sin Station (黃大仙站) and Sha Tin Pass Road (沙田坳道) respectively; When the Citybus Stop Announcement System announces eastbound stop, the screen displays "Wong Tai Sin Station , Temple Mall" ( 黃大仙站 、黃大仙中心); whereas "Shatin Pass Road, Wong Tai Sin Station " ( 沙田坳道、黃大仙站 ) will be displayed for westbound stop announcements.

History

Citybus and KMB used to call their eastbound stops "Cheung Lai House" (長麗樓) . After the redevelopment of Upper Wong Tai Sin Estate in the 1990s, KMB renamed it into "Wong Tai Sin MTR Station" (黃大仙地鐵站) and "Wong Tai Sin Railway Station" (黃大仙鐵路站), while Citybus renamed it into "Lung Cheung Mall" (龍翔廣場). In July 2017, the two bus companies renamed it to "Wong Tai Sin Station".

For westbound stops, Citybus, NWFB and KMB named them 'Wong Tai Sin Centre' until March and April 2016, with the English stop names being 'Temple Mall' for Citybus/NWFB and 'Wong Tai Sin Plaza' for KMB respectively. The English name of Wong Tai Sin Centre has been changed several times in recent years. In 2009, the shopping mall was renamed from "Wong Tai Sin Shopping Centre" to "Wong Tai Sin Plaza", and both KMB, NWFB and Citybus changed their stopn names accordingly; the shopping mall was renamed "Temple Mall" in October 2015, and only Citybus and NWFB changed their stop names. Two bus companies subsequently renamed it to "Sha Tin Pass Road" (沙田坳道).

In January 2023, KMB once changed the name of its eastbound stop to "Wong Tai Sin Interchange" (黃大仙轉車站), but a few days later the English name was changed to "Wong Tai Sin BBI", which was reinstated one month later with the addition of a prefix to the name of the interchange station; KMB changed the names of its two stations to their current names in early February 2024 , while Citybus has not followed suit.

Surrounding facilities

The eastbound stop is located near Exit B1 of Wong Tai Sin Station, Temple Mall North (formerly known as Lung Cheung Centre/Lung Cheung Square), Lung Cheung Office Building and Upper Wong Tai Sin Estate, opposite to Morse Park Swimming Pool.

The westbound stop is located outside Temple Mall South, with Wong Tai Sin Bus Terminus to the south, and Wong Tai Sin Disciplined Services Quarters and Lionsrise to the southeast.
