The Wong Chuk Hang Temporary Bus Terminus[1] is located between Grandview Garden (金寶花園) and San Wui Chamber of Commerce Chan Pak Sha Memorial Secondary School, near the intersection with Police School Road, La Marina Phase 1 THE SOUTHLAND (港島南岸第一期晉環, located at the site of former Wong Chuk Hang Estate) and opposite the Singapore International School. It is an open-air bus terminus with a parallel platform design.
The purpose of building a temporary terminus is to cooperate with the MTR South Island Line project to replace the "Wong Chuk Hang Estate Bus Terminus" which has been located across the road and has served residents in the area for nearly 40 years. Dynamic Bus Stop List displays the name of this stop as "Wong Chuk Hang (Nam Long Shan)" (黃竹坑(南朗山)).
The Wong Chuk Hang Estate has been demolished since 2007 and the importance as the bus terminus located at the southern edge of the estate has been greatly reduced. Most of termini of the concerned bus routes in the Southern District have been moved to Sham Wan one by one.
