Tsz Wan Shan (South) Bus Terminus (慈雲山(南)總站, Citybus Location Code TWS)[1]is located between Po Kong Village Road and Yuk Wah Street in Wong Tai Sin District, Kowloon, next to Tsz Wan Shan Bus Terminus Sitting-out Area and SKH Kindly of Light Church, opposite to Po Kong Village Road Park. The bus terminus adopts a traditional parallel single-row platform design.

History[]

Tsz Wan Shan (South) Bus Terminus was formerly named as 'South Tsz Wan Shan Bus Terminus', located opposite of Block 66 Man Chun House, Tsz Wan Shan Estate. According to old photos, South Tsz Wan Shan Bus Terminus originally had 9 rows.[2][3]

Tsz Wan Shan Estate has 62 blocks, and the demand for bus services were increasing every day. Many KMB new routes were located to North Tsz Wan Shan as their termini. Tsz Wan Shan (South) Bus Terminus plays for a minor role only. Later the eastern and western rows were even withdrawn and rebuilt into SKH Kindly Light Church Bradbury Centre, Parking Lots and Tsz Wan Shan Bus Terminus Sitting-out Area, with only 4 rows remaining as of today.

Tsz Wan Shan (Central) Bus Terminus commenced service on 9 November 1997, followed by the opening of Tsz Wan Shan Shopping Centre. South Tsz Wan Shan Bus Terminus was renamed to 'Tsz Wan Shan (South) Bus Terminus. Many routes were altered to either Tsz Wan Shan (Central) or Tsz Wan Shan (North) Bus Terminus as their new termini. Routes 2F and 3M still goes via this stop to offer convenience to the original customers.

Tsz Wan Shan (South) Bus Terminus once was left with only route 3P, which is a peak hour service route, as its terminus. It was until 2009, when route E23 was extended from Choi Hung to Tsz Wan Shan (South) [4], to finally have a full-time route to use this stop as a terminus once again. Because of this, GMB Route 65 had to move from the lorry parking lot to this terminus officially, and was the only GMB route that used this terminus. Unfortunately it has stopped service in 5 February 2017. From there, only bus routes serve the Tsz Wan Shan (South) Bus Terminus and the original row for route 65 was reopened in 2 March 2018 for taxis and private cars.[1]

Route 3P has cancelled its service in 2 May 2017 and was replaced by the special departure of route 3M.
