Tsing King Road (青敬路) is a dual two-way southbound and northbound road in the northern part of Tsing Yi, Kwai Tsing District, New Territories, starting from Tam Kon Shan Interchange in the north and ending at the roundabout at the junction of Tsing Yi Heung Sze Wui Road and Fung Shue Wo Road in the south, with a section north of the Tsing Tsuen Road underbelly being a U-shape road that semi-envelops Cheung On Estate.

Tsing King Road is an essential route for access to the Cheung On Bus Terminus and to and from the Tsing Yi Station Public Transport Interchange.

All KMB en-route stops along Tsing King Road Road are prefixed with TS16.

History[]

Tsing King Road was opened to traffic around 1986 as a result of the Nga Ying Chau Reclamation Project, and was initially temporarily numbered as "Road TY4" until 11 August 1989 when it was gazetted as "Road TY4".[1] The section off Tivoli Garden was merged into Tsing King Road on 17 May 1996.[2]

On 20 December 1987, KMB Route 44M was extended to the newly opened Cheung On Bus Terminus as the first public transport route via this road.

With the opening of the Tsing Yi North Bridge and Tsing Yi Station, Tsing King Road has become one of the major roads on Tsing Yi Island.
