Tseung Kwan O - Lam Tin Tunnel BBI (將藍隧道轉車站), or TKO-Lam Tin Tunnel BBI for short, is a bus stop is located at the Lam Tin Interchange, Cha Kwo Ling, Kwun Tong District in Kowloon, next to the Eastern Harbour Crossing Administration Building and Workshop. It is a one-way westbound bus interchange.

Citybus refers to this station directly as the Lam Tin Interchange (藍田交匯處) which is named after on the road where the interchange is located.

This station, together with the Fanling Highway BBI, is currently one of the few stations with one-way interchanges, although passengers at this station can still use the Wai Lok Street intermediate stop for interchanging to the other direction of the Tseung Lam Highway routes.

History[]

The Lam Tin Interchange was set up at the Kowloon end of the Tseung Kwan O - Lam Tin Tunnel, which links to Cha Kwo Ling Road and the T2 Trunk Road under construction[2]. There was originally no plan to build a bus interchange in the tunnel project. After persistent efforts from Kwun Tong and Sai Kung districts, the Government has adjusted the alignment of some of the slip roads, altered the landscaped deck design and related site formation works at Lam Tin Interchange, where space is limited and there are many slip roads, so that the BBI can be provided in a safe manner.[3]

Nearby facilities[]

The Eastern Harbour Crossing Administration Building and Workshop and Cha Kwo LingVillage are nearby this stop. Passengers can walk to the Eastern Harbour Crossing Toll Plaza Bus Stop via the footbridge.
