Tam Kon Shan Interchange, is a road roundabout located at the junction of Tam Kon Shan Road, Tsing King Road, Tsing Tsuen Road, Fung Shue Wo Road and Tsing Yi North Coastal Road in Tsing Yi, Kwai Tsing District, which was gazetted on 22 July 1988.[1]
There is also a vehicular bridge over the roundabout connecting Tsing Tsuen Road and Tsing Yi North Coastal Road.
This interchange used to be the road most travelled by franchised bus companies.[2]
Usage situation[]
This roundabout is located on the trunk road to and from Tsing Yi and is used by dozens of minibus and bus routes.
Routes entering and exiting the Cheung On Bus Terminus pass through this interchange twice, and apart from Routes 49M and 249M, franchised bus routes terminating at Tsing Yi Station also pass through this interchange on both directions. In addition, LWB routes A32, E42 and E42P and Citybus routes E21, E21D, N21 and N21A also pass through this interchange to connect Tsing Tsuen Road and Fung Shue Wo Road.
