Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill (大埔公路-琵琶山段) is a section of Tai Po Road connecting Tai Po Road - Sha Tin Heights to the north at the junction with Kam Shan Road and the Kowloon section (also named Tai Po Road) to the south at the junction with Caldecott Road, which is a two-way north-southbound road.
The section of Tai Po Road – Piper's Hill between the Caldecott Road flyover and the open-air car park at Shek Lei Pui Reservoir forms the boundary between Sha Tin District and Sham Shui Po District. The southbound carriageway lies within Sham Shui Po District, while the northbound carriageway belongs to Sha Tin District. The section from the Caldecott Road Flyover to Caldecott Road Road itself falls within Sham Shui Po District, while the area north of the Shek Lei Pui Reservoir Open-Air Car Park belongs to Sha Tin District.
KMB has prefixed all bus stops along Tai Po Road with TA21.
History[]
Tai Po Road - Piper's Hill has a long history, having once served as the principal thoroughfare connecting eastern New Territories with the urban districts.
