Shek Mun Estate Bus Terminus (碩門邨巴士總站 [Remark 1][Remark 2], Citybus Location Code SHM) is located opposite to Kin Shek House, adjacent to MTR Shek Mun Station and the Jockey Club Kitchee Centre on On Ming Street, Shek Mun, Sha Tin District, New Territories.
The green minibus (GMB) stop is located on the southbound lane of On Ming Street outside Kin Shek House, Shek Mun Estate, opposite to MTR Shek Mun Station; while the bus terminus is located at the northbound parking bay between Exits B and D of MTR Shek Mun Station opposite to Kin Shek House. In addition, this stop is the designated boarding and alighting stop for the MTR Free Shuttle Bus at Shek Mun Station when an accident on MTR system occurs.
History[]
The Ma On Shan Line was opened in December 2004. At that time, there were no residences near Shek Mun Station, and only New Territories GMB Route 67K went round and round through Shek Mun Industrial Area, and set up a stop at On Ming Street.
The first phase of Shek Mun Estate was occupied in 2009. Two green minibus routes entered Shek Mun Estate successively, namely Routes 811A [1] and the newly-commenced Route 67A[2][Remark 3], both of which are located opposite Shek Mun Station and on the side of On Ming Street outside Kin Shek House Shek Mun Estate as the terminus.
On 26 November 2012, KMB Route 281B was put into service and became the first franchised bus route serving Shek Mun Estate[3], the initial terminus was located opposite the HKBU Affiliated School Wong Kam Fai Secondary and Primary School, which is the parking bay opposite Exit D of MTR Shek Mun Station. Since the original location is far away from the pedestrian crossing facilities, the terminus wasopened a week later and was permanently moved back by 150 metres and relocated to the parking bay between Exit B and D of Shek Mun Station, adjacent to the taxi stand[4]. At present, the taxi stand has been removed, and the entire parking bay is designated as a bus terminus, which allowed the parking of several buses, and there is even a KMB Regulator's kiosk at the rear of the stop.

The bus terminus is adjacent to Shek Mun Estate Phase I and Phase II, Hong Kong Baptist University Affiliated School Wong Kam Fai Primary and secondary school, Hong Kong Baptist University International College, Christian International School, Kings Wing Plaza Phase I and Phase II, Jockey Club Kitchee Centre, etc.
