Shan Lai Court (山麗苑) bus stop is an on-street westbound en-route stop located outside Lei Shan House (Block D) of Shan Lai Court, Lung Ma Road, Queen's Hill, North District, New Territories.

History[]

Shan Lai Court was completed in 2021 as part of the Housing Authority's "Sale of Home Ownership Scheme Flats 2020" programme, forming a single development alongside the adjacent Queen's Hill Estate. This bus stop commenced operation on 30 November of the same year, coinciding with the introduction of various routes serving Queen's Hill and the extension of Route 278A to Queen's Hill. As Queen's Hill Public Transport Interchange was not yet operational at that time, all daytime routes temporarily used this stop as their terminus. On 26 January the following year, with the opening of the new interchange, the terminus was relocated there, while maintaining service via this stop for both directions.

Surrounding facilities[]

The front stop is adjacent to Block C (Hang Shan House), Shan Lai Court, while the rear stop is adjacent to Lei Shan House (Block D), Shan Lai Court. The remains of Queen's Hill Barracks is also located near this stop.

A pedestrian passageway linking to Wong Hau Shan Drive and Po Kak Tsai Village is located near Block F (Kiu Shan House) at the end of Lung Ma Road, which can be reached by walking backwards from this stop. Turning right onto Po Kak Tsai Road from the passageway links to Lung Shan Temple, while turning onto Lau Shui Heung Road links to places such as Hok Tau and Lau Shui Heung, etc.
