Sha Tin Centre Street (沙田正街) is a street in Sha Tin Central, Sha Tin District, New Territories, starting from Lion Rock Tunnel Road and Tai Po Road - Tai Wai in the south and Ho Tau Road and Sha Tin Market in the north. The street was first gazetted and named on 2 March 1982[1].
Sha Tin Centre Street runs north-south. The road between the two junctions with Pak Hok Ting Street is one-way northbound. Southbound vehicles need to drive through Pak Hok Ting Street; between Tam Kon The section from Po Street to Wang Pok Street is also one-way northbound, and southbound vehicles need to pass through Yuen Wo Road and Tam Kon Po Street; the remaining sections are two-way.
Sha Tin Centre Street is the main way in and out of Shatin Central Bus Terminus[Remark 1]. It is also the only way to enter and exit the New Town Plaza Residents' Bus Terminus.
