Sha Tin Central (沙田市中心) bus stop is located on the Sha Tin Centre Street southbound, Sha Tin District, New Territories, outside New Town Plaza, opposite to Sha Tin Central Bus Terminus. It is an en-route stop along the road.
On 2 April 2023, KMB Routes 288 and 288A no longer stopped at Sha Tin Town Hall (Tam Kon Po Street), but instead stopping here. This stop is the circular return point of Route 288 and the terminus of Route 288A.
