Scenic Road (觀景路) is a road in the Airport Logistics Area on Chek Lap Kok, Islands District, New Territories, starting from the roundabout connecting Chek Lap Kok South Road in the south and ending at the Chun Wan Road Interchange in the north, with a total length of 839 metres, and the whole section is a bi-directional southbound and northbound separated road.

History[]

The road was gazetted on 2 January 1998 to tie in with the imminent opening of the Airport Logistics Area [2], and was opened to traffic on 22 June following the opening of the Logistics Area.

Ridership[]

Scenic Road is the main trunk road of the Airport Logistics Area, and together with Chun Yue Road, they are the only two routes that can be used by vehicles travelling between the Airport Logistics Area and the Airport Terminal Area via East Coast Road and Airport Road. Therefore, there are a large number of North Lantau External Routes, Overnight North Lantau External Routes, North Lantau Shuttle Routes [1], and a number of airport bus routes[3] during peak hours.
