The Red Minibus Kowloon City - Tsuen Wan Route, abbreviated as Tsuen Wong Kau Route is operated by the Public Light Bus Association Ping Tsuen Branch. It runs between Tsien Wan (Tsuen Wan Market Street) and Kowloon City (Lion Rock Road), via Wong Tai Sin, Diamond Hill and Tung Tau Estate, Inbound just via Kwai Fong and Kwai Hing. During the period between the re-routing of KMB Route 40 and the opening of MTR Tuen Ma Line, this route used to be the the sole direct public transport route between the two places.
Tsuen Wong Kau Route is operated by Public Light Bus Merchants Association Ping Tsuen Branch This route is officially a circular route as listed in the operator, but under any circumstances, all passengers must alight after the vehicle has arrived at Kowloon City, therefore it belongs to a fake circular route.
A passenger wishes to get onboard the minibus at an intermediate stop should call the operator's hotline to reserve a seat:
