Related incidents[]
- 9 April 2021: At about 12:00 noon, a Toyota Coaster (LM9290) travelling on the Oi Man Estate - Mong Kok Route braked sharply on Pui Ching Road near Man Fung Path when a motorcycle in front of it suddenly turned right into a safety island in an attempt to make a U-turn, but it was hit by the rear of a seventh-generation Toyota Coaster public light bus (JA6311) on this route which followed behind it. Fifteen people were injured and the driver of the motorcycle was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.[2] The former vehicle involved in the incident was retired early due to its age and was replaced by MR4771.
