The New Territories Green Minibus (GMB) Route 88A is operated by Kwai Ching United Green Public Light Bus (葵青聯運專線小巴有限公司) (Passenger Service Licence (PSL) No. 11455C) and adopts the following service arrangements:

  • Before 09:00 on Mondays to Saturdays, it operates as a circular route between Tam Kon Shan Road and Mayfair Gardens;
  • After 09:00 on Mondays to Saturdays and whole day on public holidays, it is split into two routes:
    • Long-working service (長程線): Runs circular between Mayfair Gardens and Cheung On;
    • Short-working service (短程線): Runs circular between Tsing Yi Station and Tam Kon Shan Road;
    • Free interchange between two services is provided at Cheung On and Tsing Yi Station.

According to Transport Department's "Schedule of Services", this route is served by a total of 4 minibuses, and 2 19-seater minibuses can also be deployed from Route 88M. The combined passenger carrying capacity is not less than 96 passengers in each direction during the peak hour. Currently, New Territories Routes 88A, 88C, 88F, 88G and 88M operated under Kwai Tsing United have a total of 33 Toyota Coaster minibuses, including 19 16-seater minibuses and 14 19-seater minibuses.   1. Numbers placed after the model Toyota Coaster (if any) are only used within the transport enthusiasts, others (including the industry) does not use such names.
  2. Plate orginally belonged to a 1992 2nd generation from a Red Minibus.
  3. Original plate no. of the 3rd generation DX1869, plate no changed after transferred to Kwai Tsing United, then had it plate to change as TX7502 and trasferred to 94 Licensed Mini-Bus' New Territories Routes 94 series in January and March 2016 respectively.
  4. The Plate no was originally belonged to a 1989 2nd generation
