History[]

This route was formerly known as the PLB Park YOHO - Yuen Long Route, which serves the housing estate Park YOHO in a similar mode as residents' buses. In August 2024, the Transport Department (TD) launched a conversion of red minibus to green minibus scheme to invite 11 red minibus routes, including this route, which have participated in the Public Transport Fare Concession Scheme for the Elderly and Eligible Persons with Disabilities and met the specified criteria to convert to green minibus operation, and the scheme was approved on 6 January 2025[1], with the route being subsequently numbered as New Territories Route 624.

  • 9 March 2025: Route 624 entered service, replacing the PLB Park YOHO - Yuen Long Route.[2]
