The New Territories Green Minibus Route 60P is operated by Rich Success Transportation Limited (富昇運輸有限公司) (Passenger Service Licence (PSL) No. 11253C). It runs between Sha Tin Station and Chun Yeung Estate.

As a supplementary service to Route 60K, it operates on Mondays to Saturdays AM and PM peak hours only, omitting Lek Yuen Estate, Wo Che Estate and Fo Tan Cottage Area which are served by the main route, providing an express service between Fo Tan and Sha Tin Central.

History[]

  • 2 January 1990: The short-working special trip of Route 60K was launched, running between Sha Tin KCR Station and Fo Tan (Kwei Tei Street).
  • 1 June 1994: The short-working trip to Kwei Tei Street was individually numbered as 60P and from the same day, all departures between 08:00 and 09:45 on Mondays to Saturdays were re-routed via Fo Tan (Kwei Tei Street), omitting Yuen Wo Road.
  • 2003: The Transport Department revoked the Passenger Service Licence of the original operator Standard Line Limited (立航有限公司) due to its poor service record.,[1] and re-tendered this route with Routes 60K, 60R, 61M, 61S and 62K on 1 August.;[2][3] Finally, Rich Success Transportation took over the route on 5 November in the same year, defeating the other five companies including Kiu Wan.
  • 28 August 2020: The Fo Tan terminus was relocated from Kwei Tei Street to Chun Yeung Estate.[4]
  • 24 September 2021: Real-time Arrival Information was introduced to this route.[5]

Notes:
  • Passengers must use the same Octopus Card to pay the fare for both the minibus and MTR to enjoy the above-mentioned interchange concession.
  • Passengers can enjoy the above interchange concession at any MTR station / minibus stop that connects to the second leg of the route.
  • The MTR ride does not apply to Light Rail, Airport Express, High Speed Rail, MTR Bus and MTR Feeder Bus services.
  • The MTR interchange concession only applies to paid rides. Unless otherwise specified, passengers using the Monthly Pass Enhanced or Disneyland Resort Line Monthly Pass (including those who have paid First Class Supplementary Fare) cannot enjoy this concession when taking the MTR at designated stations; however, if Enhanced Monthly Pass or Disneyland Resort Line Monthly Ticket holders take paid rides outside the designated stations, the concession still applies.
  • If passengers have just used the same Octopus Card for the Airport Express "Free MTR Connection," they cannot simultaneously enjoy the MTR interchange concession.
  • If both "MTR Fare Saver" and "MTR Interchange Concession" are applicable, passengers can only enjoy one of the higher discounts.
  • Higher concession amounts are available for certain GMB routes at designated MTR stations.

Minibus deployments[]

According to the Transport Department's Schedule of Services, a total of 16 minibuses are required to serve this route together with routes 60K and 60R. The combined capacity of the three routes is not less than 240 passengers per direction during the peak hour.
