The New Territories Green Minibus (GMB) Route 406 is operated by Fu Wan Public Light Bus Company Limited (富運專線小巴有限公司) (Passenger Service Licence (PSL) No. 11315C) under Ma Ah Muk. It runs circular between Shek On House Shek Lei Estate and Kwai Shing Estate, with service only during peak hours in the morning and afternoon on Mondays to Fridays.
The terminus and circular points of this route are both located in the Kwai Tsing District, but it passes through Lei Muk Shue Estate, Cheung Shan Estate and Shing Mun Valley Park in the Tsuen Wan District for outbound direction. It is currently the only public transport service that passes through the section of Shing Mun Road between Texaco Road North and Cheung Shan Estate Road East. On the return journey, it directly takes Kwai Chung Road to Shek Yam Estate and Shek Lai Estate, becoming one of the GMB routes with a mixture of intra-district and cross-district routes.
