The New Territories Green Minibus Route 301M is operated by Loadwin Industrial Limited (路榮實業有限公司) (Passenger Service Licence (PSL) No. 6567C). It runs circular between Tsuen Wan West Station and Tsuen Wan Station.

History[]

  • 31 August 1990: The Transport Department (TD) invited open tender for 27 new GMB routes in 14 groups, which are grouped with Route 302. [1]
  • 1 December 1991: Route 301M entered service between Hing Shing Temporary Housing Area and Tsuen Wan MTR Station.
  • 20 December 2003: The terminus was relocated to Tsuen Wan West Station following the opening of KCR West Rail Line.
  • 16 March 2014: The morning service was cancelled.
  • 2020: The Tsuen Wan Station-direction omitted Tso Kung Street and Tsuen Wan Plaza. The Tsuen Wan West-direction omitted Hoi Shing Road.
  • 25 June 2021: Real-time Arrival Information System was introduced to this route.[2]

Notes:
  • Passengers must use the same Octopus Card to pay the fare for both the minibus and MTR to enjoy the above-mentioned interchange concession.
  • Passengers can enjoy the above transfer discount at any MTR station / minibus stop that connects to the second leg of the route.
  • The MTR ride does not apply to Light Rail, Airport Express, Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High-Speed Rail, MTR Bus and MTR Feeder Bus services.
  • The MTR interchange concession only applies to paid rides. Unless otherwise specified, passengers using the Monthly Pass Enhanced Version or Disneyland Line Monthly Ticket (including those who have paid First Class Supplementary Fare) cannot enjoy this concession when taking the MTR at designated stations; however, if Enhanced Monthly Pass or Disneyland Resort Line Monthly Ticket holders take paid rides outside the designated stations, the concession still applies.
  • If passengers have just used the same Octopus Card for the Airport Express "Free MTR Connection," they cannot simultaneously enjoy the MTR interchange concession.
  • If both "MTR Fare Saver" and "MTR Interchange Concession" are applicable, passengers can only enjoy one of the higher discounts.
  • Higher concession amounts are available for certain GMB routes at designated MTR stations.

Currently this route, Route 301 and Route 302 are served by a total of 14 Toyota Coaster LPG minibuses, including 10 16-seater minibuses and 4 19-seater minibuses. All vehicles can be dispatched away to non-scheduled routes when necessary.

  1. Numbers placed after the model Toyota Coaster (if any) are only used within the transport enthusiasts, others (including the industry) does not use such names.
  2. The 5LS was originally a vehicle on PLB Tsz Mong Route and Po Mong Route, sold to Loadwin Industrial in November 2015, until October 2022 before retirement.
