Minibus deployments[]

According to the Transport Department's Schedule of Services, this route requires a total of 7 minibuses to provide service. The total passenger capacity in each direction during the peak hour is not less than 64.

Currently this route and Route 101M, 102, 102B and 111 have a total of 65 Toyota Coaster minibuses, including 17 16-seater minibuses and 48 19-seater minibuses.

In July 2015, the first long-range Toyota Coaster (GX511, originally the 1996 third generation) diesel minibus was put into service on this route. The vehicle[13] is equipped with electric sliding doors and sealed windows, luxurious seats, and an automatic transmission. In response to the government's plan to replace the first phase of EU commercial vehicles, this route has gradually introduced such minibuses since December 2015, replacing some of the original 16-seater LPG minibuses.[14]

However, after serving on this route for many years, the above-mentioned minibuses often suffered from mechanical failures of varying sizes, which greatly increased the maintenance cost.[15] Therefore since 2019, Ma Ah Muk has taken the opportunity of introducing a large number of brand new 19-seater LPG minibuses to transfer these minibuses to other routes with the same type of minibuses, such as the Express Top Industries New Territories Route 44 series route or the Golden Way New Territories Route 55K, replacing the 16-seater LPG minibuses that were transferred to other Ma Ah Muk-owned minibus operators or deregistered and retired, and replaced them with the new 19-seater LPG minibuses. The above-mentioned diesel minibuses have all been transferred from this route in October 2022.

Until January 2024, these routes are served by 45 newest 19-seater LPG minibuses.
