Hong Kong Buses Wiki

The Kowloon green Minibus Route 79K is operated by Honest Profit Corporation Limited (Passenger Service Licence (PSL) No. 11071C). It runs circular between Mong Kok (Park Avenue) and Mong Kok East Station.

Although 79K belongs to the same group as 79M and 79S, it has no connection with the service areas of these two routes.

This route is officially a circular route as listed in the according to Transport Department's Schedule of Services, but under any circumstances, all passengers must alight after the vehicle has arrived at Mong Kok East Station, therefore it belongs to a fake circular route.

This route has similar starting and ending points to Route 12S, but it passes through Cosmopolitan Estate and Yau Ma Tei Station in the direction of Mong Kok, and passes through Prince Edward Road West in the direction of Tai Kok Tsui, making the route relatively circuitous.
