Ridership[]
This route formerly was a main shuttle route to the KCR East Rail (now East Rail Line) for King Fu District, Diamond Hill and Chuk Yuen. Since the completion of footbridge linking between Fung Tak Road and Diamond Hill Station as well as Chuk Yuen Estate and Wong Tai Sin Station, many residents switched to railway by walking to MTR Kwun Tong Line stations and no longer relied on minibus connections, causing a decrease in ridership.
According to the data of Transport Department, the daily passenger volume of this route is as follows:
- Earlier 2019: 4,900 passengers. [2]
