The Kowloon Green Minibus (GMB) Route 47 is operated by Brilliant Way Limited (Passenger Service Licence (PSL) No. 8875C) under Ma Ah Muk. It runs between Shun Lee Estate and Tsui Ping (Kwun Tong Station).

This route is officially a circular route as listed in the according to Transport Department's Schedule of Services, but under any circumstances, all passengers must alight after the vehicle has arrived at Kwun Tong Station, therefore it belongs to a fake circular route.

History[]

  • 29 October 1993: The Transport Department (TD) invited open tender for 16 new GMB routes in 10 groups, this route was among one of them.[1]
  • 1st December 1994: Route 47 entered service, running between Shun Lee Estate and between Shun Lee Estate and Tsui Ping (Kwun Tong Station). [2]
  • 14 April 2019: Fare payment by AlipayHK "Easy Go" was accepted. [3]
  • Late-May 2021: The first trip from Shun Lee Estate was advanced from 06:15 to 06:00.
  • 28 June 2022: Real-time Arrival Information System was introduced to this route.[4]

  • Elderly persons aged 65 or above using Elderly Octopus or Personalised Octopus cards, Hong Kong residents aged 60 to 64 using JoyYou Card, and eligible persons with disabilities using Personalised Octopus cards with"Persons with Disabilities Status" can enjoy a flat fare of $2.0 per journey under the Concessionary Fare.
  • Passengers are required to tender exact fare in cash or by Octopus card upon boarding. No change will be given.
  • This route accepts payments with AlipayHK "EasyGo", but interchange concessions and the $2.0 flat fare per trip are not entitled with this payment method.
