Related incidents[]

  • 31 October 2015: Around 12:00, one of the Mitsubishi Rosa (KZ2860) to Whampoa Garden burst into fires when entered Boundary Street Beverly Villas. The whole minibus was engulfed in flames and four sounds of explosion were heard (it was believed that the tyre overheated and exploded) and the minibus was badly burnt. No injuries were resulted to the driver and 8 passengers on board. The Fire Services Department later believed the fire was caused by an overheated engine.[32]The minibus concerned was severely burnt and was unrepairable, which led to it being written off. The plate number and Passenger Service Licence (PSL) was later applied to same model minibus that entered service in 2016.
