Ridership[]

There is a high demand from Tsz Wan Shan to MTR station, but this route requires a detour via Hammer Hill to reach Diamond Hill Station, which is meandering than the circular route 37M via Sheung Fung Street to Wong Tai Sin Station, and the passenger demand of this route is currently a main route from Hammer Hill to Po Kong Village Road School Village.

This route has been adopted by all trips towards Tsz Wan Shan before 2013 as follows: Tsz Wan ShanCentreShatin Pass EstateTsz Oi Court Stage 3Ching Fai House, of which delayed the journeys of the passengers from Tsz Wan Shan Centre to Diamond Hill, causing complaints. Therefore, the operator was requested to modify the routing and introduce a special-working trip route 19S for whole-day service to divert the passengers.

Related incidents[]

  • 1 October 2019: During anti-ELAB demonstrations at around 3pm, a citizen photographed a Toyota Coaster (PS9968) towards Diamond Hill Station suddenly accelerated rapidly and rushed madly towards the people gathered on the road in front of it as it was falling down the slope at Po Kong Village Road. The crowd panicked and scattered, and some people threw objects to the minibus. The minibus eventually escaped and left in the direction of Diamond Hill Plaza Hollywood without any injuries.
    • Until around 9pm, the vehicle was burnt and destroyed by arson while it was parked beside the garage at Tai Yau Street.[12]Due to the serious damage, the minibus was written off on 29 October in the same year and was replaced by a second-hand Toyota Coaster (FT4721).
