History[]
Kam Jet Limited was founded in 18 June 1996 and won the right to operate Route 409 in 2000, providing service from Cheung Hang (Hang Mei Street) and Tsuen Wan (Tsuen Wan Market Street) on 9 April of the same year. On 5 October 2008, its branch route 409K entered service, running between Cheung Hang (Hang Mei Street) and Tsuen Wan West Station. In 29 November 2015, another branch route 409S entered service, running between Cheung Hang (Hang Mei Street) and Tsuen Wan (Tsuen Wan Market Street).
