History[]
Opening background[]
In order to meet the needs of passengers commuting from Tuen Mun to East Kowloon in the morning, the authorities proposed in the "2016-2017 Bus Route Planning Programme" to cancel Route 267S, which has a low passenger volume, and use the freed resources to launch a new route 267X, departing at 07:00 on from Mondays to Fridays from Siu Hong Court to Lam Tin Station.
This route was subsequently implemented, but it was made to not stop at Tuen Mun Road Interchange and the departure time was revised to 07:25.
History of route changes[]
- 31 October 2016: Route 267X was put into service, running only one way from Siu Hong Court to Lam Tin Station on Mondays to Fridays at 07:25.[1]
- 20 February, 2017: A return service from Lam Tin Station to Siu Hong Court was added from Monday to Friday at 18:00.[2]
- 1 July 2017: In order to cooperate with the franchise extension of Kowloon Motor Bus, the 50% Long-haul Route Same-day Return Discount Concession Scheme for Full-time Students was implemented.
- 17 June 2018: Buses heading to Siu Hong Court were made to stop at the "Siu Hong Road" bus stop.[3]
- 2 July 2019: The number of trips from Siu Hong Court were increased to two at 07:25 and 07:45.[4][5]
- 4 January 2021: The number of return trips in the afternoon was increased to two with departure times at 18:00 and 18:15.[6]
- 6 March 2023: The first return trip in the afternoon departed five minutes earlier at 17:55 instead of 18:00.[7]
