History[]
Commencing background[]
This route was previously known as special departure of Route 203 from Chak On Estate to Tsim Sha Tsui East and return to Yau Yat Chuen, which came into operation on 3 December in 1997, with two trips every Mondays to Saturdays morning.
In response to the merger of Routes 2C and 203 into a new route 203C on 18 January 2014, the special departure of Route 203 was renamed 203S on the same day, [1][2] but changed to Tsim Sha Tsui East (Mody Road) as the terminus and no return service to Yau Yat Chuen was provided.
Route change history[]
- 21 March 2015: Estimated Time of Arrival Enquiry System was added to this route.[3]
- 23 May 2016: Service was curtailed to 07:45 only due to low patronage. [4]
