The Hong Kong Island Green Minibus Route 59A is operated by Sunning Transportation Limited (Passenger Service Licence (PSL) No. 7950C) under AMS Public Transport Holdings. It runs between Aberdeen (Tung Sing Road) and Shum Wan (Broadview Court), via Aberdeen Praya Road.

This route provides 24-hour service throughout the day, and charges higher fares for overnight trips. It has an independent number "N59A" and is only displayed on minibuses equipped with electronic route signs, and the Transport Department does not regard it as an independent route.

Same fare regardless of age. Elderly persons aged 65 or above using Elderly Octopus or Personalised Octopus cards, Hong Kong residents aged 60 to 64 using JoyYou Card, and eligible persons with disabilities using Personalised Octopus cards with"Persons with Disabilities Status" can enjoy a flat fare of $2.0 per journey under the Concessionary Fare. Passengers are required to tender exact fare in cash or by Octopus card upon boarding. No change will be given. This route accepts payments with AlipayHK "EasyGo", but interchange concessions and the $2.0 flat fare per trip are not entitled with this payment method. Elderly holders of the AMS Bus Elderly Discount Card can enjoy a full discount of $3.4, which is only applicable to cash payments and is applicable all day long.
