Honest Profit Corporation Limited (誠利有限公司) is one of the green minibus operator that operates minibuses routes mainly in Mong Kok and Wong Tai Sin.
Currently, Honest Profit Corporation Limited operates three Kowloon special minibus routes under the Passenger Service License No. 11071C, as well as an overnight special minibus route from Mong Kok to Lok Ma Chau Control Point.
The person in charge of Honest Profit is Wai Kam Choi. [2] Wai Kam Choi also holds several green minibus passenger service licenses under the names of Good Country, Bothfine Transportation and Head Expand, and also operates a car repair company, Tin Fat Motor Engineering, among which Good Country has now withdrawn from the GMB industry. The office of Honest Profit is located at G/F, Cheung Hing Industrial Building, 23 Tai Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon.
History[]
In 2003, Honest Profit Corporation Limited operated three green minibus routes, list are Kowloon GMB Route 79K, 79M and New Territories GMB Route 616S. Among them, Route 616S is one of the three GMB routes approved by the Transport Department to enter the Lok Ma Chau Control Point.
Since Kwok Chung Motor Car gave up the operation of Kowloon GMB Route 21K, Honest Profit Corporation Limited submitted a bid. The government allowed the operating rights of this route to Honest Profit Corporation in mid-2009, as the fourth route operated by Honest Profit Corporation. However, due to long-term losses, the route was ultimately unable to escape the fate of closure, and its historical mission ended on 15 October 2012. On the same day, the route 12 series under Central Venture Limited operated a temporary route 12S to replace it.
On 12 June 2009, The serious traffic accident occurred on route 616S led to Honest Profit Corporation Limited being accused of touting passengers over its express journey time of 30 minutes. For details, see New Territories GMB Route 616S.
