The Fu Shing Court (富城閣) bus stop is located outside Fu Shing Court on the westbound side of Chai Wan Road, Chai Wan, Eastern District, Hong Kong Island, near Fu On Court, opposite to the former CMB Chai Wan Depot. It is a intermediate bus stop.
History[]
Behind the entrance to the underground housing estate of Fu On House, there is a Cheong Chin store that has been open since 1981. There is still a signboard in front of the door saying "Chai Wan District Tea Station (Chang Chun) of the Hong Kong China Automobile Company Employees Union". It is only 200 square feet. The store used to be a CMB Canteen, serving the employees of CMB Chai Wan Depot and Chai Wan (East) Terminus which is opposite.[1][2]
During the CMB era, it was named "Bus Depot" (巴士廠)[3] attached to the new Bus Stop Shelter; NWFB once named the stop "Sun Yip Street" (新業街)[4], and KMB once misspelled the name of this stop as "Foo Shing House".
Surrounding Facilities[]
This bus stop is located near Fu Shing Court, Fu On Court, Dip Tsui Court and Chai Wan Industrial Estate. Along the stairs in front of the stop, you can reach Chai Wan Swimming Pool, Chai Wan Poolside Park and Precious Blood Girls' Secondary School via San Ha Street.
