City One Shatin (沙田第一城, Citybus Location Code COS) bus terminus is located in Ngan Shing Street, Yuen Chau Kok, New Territories, outside Blocks 20 to 23 of City One Shatin, in front of the intersection of Pak Tak Street and opposite Tak Po Street, and is an open-air bus terminus.

The bus terminus is equipped with multiple lanes and falls within the scope of a Private Road. The bus stop outside the terminus is located on Ngan Shing Street, but KMB named it "City One Sha Tin Bus Terminus" (第一城總站); note that the name of this terminus is "City One Shatin", but KMB has divided the word "Shatin" into "Sha Tin".

History

In the 1970s, the British Hong Kong government developed Sha Tin New Town. In October 1975, a tender for a total of 56 hectares of land in Sha Tin District 14 was required. The developers had to fill in the sea, level the land and build buildings by themselves. After reclamation, the developer returned about 70% of the land to the government, and the remaining land was developed into private residences. The housing estate happened to be the first sold lot in Sha Tin New Town (Shatin Town Lot No. 1), so it was named "Shatin Town Lot No. 1, City One"

City One Shatin is the first large-scale private housing estate in Sha Tin District. It is developed by BlackDecker Real Estate, an associate company composed of four real estate developers: Henderson Land Development, New World Development, Sun Hung Kai Properties and Cheung Kong Holdings. It will build 52 buildings in 7 phases with a total of 10,643 It was built between 1981 and 1987. There is a bus terminal attached to the housing estate, which was also opened in the same year; the buildings next to the terminal are blocks 15 to 23 of the second phase of development and were occupied in April 1982.

For many years, this terminus has been mainly used by resident bus Routes operated by Citybus. In 1989, the first franchised bus route and Cross-Harbour Bus Route 182, which was not operated by Citybus, entered this stop. In conjunction with the acquisition of Yu Chui Court in 2001, Route 182 was changed to terminat there, making Citybus the only user of this terminus again. KMB has only been on the roadside outside the terminus since then set up an intermediate bus stop.

On 24 November 2014, Cross-Harbour Bus Route 682C which started from this stopwas put into service, replacing Citybus Route 89R which was discontinued on the same day, making it the first NWFB route to use this stop, and it also allows the stop to be used by franchised bus routes again.
