Tsing Yi BBI - Ching Wang Court (青衣轉車站－青宏苑) bus stop is an on-street eastbound en-route stop located outside Ching Wang Court, opposite On Wu House Cheung On Estate, between Nga Ying Chau Street and Cheung On Bus Terminus on Tsing King Road, Tsing Yi, Kwai Tsing District, New Territories.
This stop is currently served only by KMB Route 279X, while other routes terminating at Tsing Yi Station via Tsing King Road omit this stop. Passengers may use "Tsing Yi BBI - Villa Esplanada" stop located ahead.
History[]
In the past, KMB Route 279X passengers travelling to Cheung On Estate or Cheung Fat Estate had to alight at the stop outside Nga Ying Chau Garden on Tsing King Road and walk for about 200 to 700 metres. The Transport Department (TD) received public views in July 2017 suggesting that an additional substation be provided outside Ching Wang Court on Tsing King Road for Route 279X towards Tsing Yi Station for the convenience of passengers travelling to Cheung On Estate and Cheung Fat Estate.[1]
After discussion with the bus companies, TD agreed that the route should have an additional substation outside Ching Wang Court and it was commissioned on 7 October 2018[2]. It was originally intended that the route would operate on a trial basis for three months until 6 January 2019[3] but in fact, the arrangement has continued to be implemented so far.

This stop is adjacent to Ching Wang Court, Villa Esplanada, Villa Esplanada Public Transport Interchange, Nga Ying Chau Garden, Cheung On Estate Stage II (On Mei House, On Ching House, On Wu House, On Pak House, On Chiu House), Delia (Man Kiu) English Primary School and Tsing King Road Ground Level Public Transport Interchange.
