Central Venture Limited (中運有限公司) is a green minibus operator based in Pak Tin in Sham Shui Po District, as well as Mong Kok and Tai Kok Tsui in Yau Tsim Mong District and operates a total of 4 green minibus routes between Mong Kok and Tai Kok Tsui.
The hotline number is 2413 9835 and the persons-in-charge are Tse Yuk Wo and Tse Cheuk Yu. This company is a member of the same group as Hop Fat Public Light Bus and Yuk Tin, and its Passenger Service Licence number is 8734C.
History[]
On 24 November 1978, The Transport Department invited public tenders for the right to operate 8 groups of 26 new green minibus (GMB) routes, one of which were routes 11 and 12[1]. At that time, the then-unincorporated Central Venture was awarded the rights to operate this set of routes and started operating them in 1979, although route 11 was cancelled after only two years of operation.
After 1992, the short-working trips between Mong Kok KCR Station and Cosmopolitan Estate were introduced, and the short-working trips were numbered as Route 12A in 2000, replacing Route 12 to Tai Kok Tsui, and Route 12B was launched in 2003.
On 15 October 2012, Route 12S was launched to replace Route 21K abandoned by Honest Profit Limited.
