Cathay City (國泰城) bus stop is located outside the Cathay Pacific Airline Store Building, opposite to Corporate Headquarter of Cathay Pacific (Cathay Pacific City) within the Bus Stop Loop on Scenic Road linking to Scenic Road and Chun Ming Road in Hong Kong International Airport, Chek Lap Kok, Islands District, New Territories. Only franchised buses are allowed to enter this stop.

Bus routes observing this stop are mainly urban-bound. In addition, NLB routes A35 and N35 to Mui Wo, Citybus routes S52 and S52P to Aircraft Maintenance Area, LWB routes S64C and S64P to Tung Chung (Yat Tung Estate) and routes S64 and S64X routes on both bounds also stop at this station, with section fare begins at this stop for S64 series routes to Tung Chung.

All Overnight Airbus Routes via Tuen Mun Chek Lap Kok Tunnel Road starts here as the Airport terminus.

A bus stop shelter has been built by Cathay Pacific to protect passengers from the raindrops while waiting for the bus, and a bus stop advertising box has been dedicated to Cathay Pacific's own advertising since its inception.

This bus stop was categorised into the nearby Chun Ming Road by Citybus and was named "Cathay Pacific City, Chun Ming Road" (國泰城，駿明路).

History

This stop was commenced on 27 June 1999, replacing the urban-bound stops at "Cathay City" stop on Scenic Road southbound.

The English name of Cathay Pacific headquarters was changed from Cathay City to Cathay Pacific City between late 2016 and 2025, but the old name is still used as the English name of the stop by NLB. With the renaming back to Cathay City in 2025, LWB took the lead in renaming the stop but Citybus has yet to rename its own.

Surrounding facilities

This stop is located outside the Cathay Pacific Airline Store Building (國泰倉庫大樓). A footbridge is located on the 1st floor spanning the four lanes on Scenic Road and linking to Cathay City.
