  • 1988: First generation New Territories GMB Route 74A entered service.
  • 2004: KMB Route 61M entered service.

Route cancellations[]

  • 1984: CMB Route 23M and KMB Route 40M ceased service.
  • 2000: Cross-Harbour Bus Route 105A ceased service.
  • 2004: KMB routes 52M, 60, 261M and 262P ceased service.

Route changes[]

  • 1961: CMB Route 8 was extended from Shau Kei Wan to Chai Wan:
  • 1999:
    • New special service on KMB Route 59X was introduced to run one-way from Lung Mun Oasis to Mong Kok KCR Station.
    • KMB Route 259C detoured via Lung Mun Oasis Bus Terminus.
  • 2004: KMB routes 61X and 263 were extended from Tuen Mun Central to Tuen Mun WR Station; Route 59A no longer served Goodview Garden, On Ting and Yau Oi for the whole day.
  • 2014: KMB Route 235 detoured via Kwok Shui Road for On Yam bound.
  • 2016:
  • 2020: Service hours on NLB routes B4 and B6 were reduced to 07:00-23:00 with frequency reductions to 1-hour intervals.
  • 2021: New special service on New Territories GMB Route 65A was introduced to operate between Wong Nai Tau and Sha Tin Station via Shek Mun Station.
