Bus stop openings

• 1983: The new Sheung Shui Bus Terminus located behind Shek Wu Hui Post Office on San Fung Avenue was opened and the Shek Wu Hui termini for KMB routes 70, 78 and 79 were simultaneously relocated inside.
• 2021: The "EMSD Headquarters" stop on Shing Kai Road was opened, with only Cross-Harbour Bus Route 608 serving the stop initially.

Route introductions

• 1970: KMB Route 3D entered service.
• 1982: KMB Route 93R and KMB Route 95R entered service.
• 1991: CMB routes 78A and 78B entered service to replace Route 78.
• 1993: KMB Route 234A entered service.
• 1997: New Territories GMB Route 809K entered service.
• 2006: NWFB Route 702A entered service.

Route cancellations

• 1991: CMB Route 78 was split into routes 78A and 78B.
• 2023: Cross-Harbour Bus Route 682X停止服務。

Route changes

• 1990: KMB Route 58M was rerouted via the northern section of Tsun Wen Road.
• 2016: Citybus Route 85 was rerouted to omit Lei King Wan for both directions.
• 2022: The 08:15 special departure of KMB Route 89P from Yiu Him House Yiu On Estate was cancelled.
• 2023:
  • Departures of Cross-Harbour Bus Route 682 from Lee On Estate was rerouted via Ma On Shan Road near Park Belvedere in lieu of Ma On Shan Town Centre and Hang Hong Street.
  • Cross-Harbour Bus Route 682P was changed to provide 3 trips from Wu Kai Sha Station which observes Sai Sha Road near Saddle Ridge Garden.
  • Morning peak hour service of Cross-Harbour Bus Route 988 from Nai Chung to Chai Wan (East) was introduced.
