Bus stop renamings

• 2002: Tsing Yan Bus Terminus was renamed Cheung Wang Bus Terminus.

Route introductions

• 1980: KMB Route 46A entered service.
• 2000: Cross-Harbour Bus Route 116S entered service.
• 2009: Citybus Hong Kong Science Park Employees’ Service Routes SP1, SP2, SP3, SP4, SP5, SP6, SP7 and SN3 entered service.
• 2024: KMB Route 230R and Cross-Harbour Bus Route 976R entered service.

Route cancellations

• 1980: KMB Route 45A ceased service.
• 2000: Cross-Harbour Bus Route 111S ceased service.
• 2024: Ma Wan Park Ark Express ceased service.

Route changes

• 1992:
  • KMB Route 95S detoured via On Ning Garden for both bounds.
  • Short-working service on Kowloon GMB Route 12 between Mong Kok KCR Station and Cosmopolitan Estate were introduced.
• 1999: Citybus Route E23 was rerouted via Kwun Tong Road Underpass for both bounds.
• 2002: Holiday morning and evening peak hour services on KMB Route 298E were introduced.
• 2008: KMB Route 96R to Diamond Hill Railway Station and Cross-Harbour Bus Route 698R to Sai Kung (Wong Shek Pier) were rerouted via Sai Kung North Public Transport Interchange, no longer passing through Fuk Man Road and Sai Kung Bus Terminus
• 2010: Special service on Cross-Harbour Bus Route 601 from Po Tat via North Point and Causeway Bay to Sheung Wan was cancelled.
• 2011: New Territories GMB Route 502 additionally observed Yat Ming Road for both directions; special service was changed to a two-way service, with the terminus relocated from Yung Shing Court to Yan Fai House Yan Shing Court and both directions additionally observing Yat Ming Road.
• 2013: Two new special departures from Tsui Lam Estate to Kowloon Bay on New Territories GMB Route 106 were added.
• 2019: Hong Kong Island GMB routes 58 and 58A were rerouted to enter the terminus directly from Aberdeen Main Road for Aberdeen (Wu Nam Street) bound, omitting Aberdeen Road and Chengtu Road.
• 2024: Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday services on routes E37C and E42C were introduced.
• 2025:
  • KMB routes 298E and 298F were changed to terminate at Hang Hau (North) with both bounds detouring via Hang Hau Station.
  • Cross-Harbour Bus Route 373 was truncated from Sheung Shui to Fanling (Luen Wo Hui) and Saturday service was also cancelled.
