Route introductions[]

  • 1987: Kowloon GMB routes 41M and 42 entered service.
  • 2002: KCR Bus Route 521P and NLB Route P1 entered service.
  • 2014: Residents' Bus Route NR531 entered service.
  • 2018: Cross-Harbour Bus Route 980A entered service.
  • 2024: KMB Route 27X entered service.

Route cancellations[]

  • 2023: New Territories GMB Route 58S ceased service.

Route changes[]

  • 1990: Morning and afternoon peak hour special departures of New Territories GMB Route 60K were introduced, running between Sha Tin KCR Station and Fo Tan (Kwei Tei Street)
  • 1992: KMB Route 224X was converted to a circular operation.
  • 2001:
  • 2024:
    • The terminus of Citybus Route 25 towards Central was relocated to Central Pier 5.
    • KMB Route 31A was converted to a one-way service from Kwai Chung Estate to Shek Lei (Tai Loong Street) during mornings on Monday to Friday school days.
    • Residents' Bus Route NR507 was converted to a one-way service from Tai Po (Lung King Villa) to Central during mornings on Mondays to Fridays.
  • 2025: MTR Bus Route K58 was extended from Castle Peak Bay to So Kwun Wat and changed to provide service during mornings on Monday to Friday school days.
