Routes Entering Service[]

  • 1960: The first generation of KMB Route 2B entered service.
  • 1996: Kowloon GMB Route 26 enters service.

Route Changes[]

  • 1960: Kowloon Tong terminus of KMB Route 7 was moved from Dorset Crescent to Cornwall Street.
  • 1967: Routing of KMB Route 3 to Chuk Yuen was changed so that after leaving Nathan Road, it went from Man Ming Lane Yau Ma Tei and Portland Street to Waterloo Road.
  • 1969: KMB Route 2A to Ngau Tai Kok was changed to pass through Kowloon City Roundabout instead of Waterloo Road and Boundary Street.
  • 1979: KMB Route 88B was extended to Ho Tung Lau.
  • 1991: KMB Route 58X was changed to detour outside the service hours of Route 66X on weekdays to Tai Hing Estate and Shan King Estate, Hung Kiu and Tuen Mun Town Plaza
  • 1997: KMB Routes 43X, 81C, 85K, and 89C were rerouted via Chung On Estate on a section of Sai Sha Road
  • 2009:
    • Citybus Route N96 suspended service in the early morning hours of Lunar New Year’s Eve.
    • Cross-Harbour Bus Route 112S changed its Kowloon Terminus from Prince Edward MTR Station to Mong Kok (Shanghai Street).
  • 2010: New Territories GMB Route 96P introduced services during afternoon peak hours from Mondays to Fridays.
  • 2014: All detours to Ocean Park on Citybus Routes 72A, 73, and 90 were cancelled.
  • 2017: Outbound terminus of Resident Bus Route NR711 was changed to Lockhart Road Market.
  • 2021: KMB Route 272E was extended to Mong Kok (Park Avenue).
