Route introductions

• 1968: KMB Route 2C entered service.
• 1997: New Territories GMB Route 44 entered service.
• 2003: KMB Route 13P entered service.
• 2014: Cross-Harbour Bus Routes 106A and 682B entered service.
• 2020: Cross-Harbour Bus Routes 907B and 907C entered service.
• 2025: LWB Route E36C entered service.

Route cancellations

• 1985: Third generation KMB Route 19 ceased service.
• 2020: Cross-Harbour Bus Routes 307B and 307C ceased service.
• 2022: Residents' Bus Route NR520 ceased service.

Route changes

• 1986: With the opening of Wong Chu Road: KMB routes 57M, 59A and 59M no longer passed through Pui To Road and Tuen Mun Town Centre; Route 66M was rerouted via Ming Kum Road outside Shan King Estate and Pui To Road.
• 1989:
  • New special trips on New Territories GMB Route 20K between Chung Ling Tsuen and Tai Po KCR Station were introduced, which provided service during afternoon non-peak hours and nighttime non-peak hours; departures to Tung Tsz at 06:30 and from Tung Tsz at 16:30 also detoured via Chung Ling Tsuen.
  • New special trips on New Territories GMB Route 23K from Lai Chi Shan to Tai Po KCR Station was introduced.
• 1991: KCR Bus Route 656 was extended from Long Ping to Yuen Long Industrial Estate.
• 2001: Hong Kong Island GMB Route 63 was rerouted via Pok Fu Lam Road for both directions.
• 2003: Citybus Route E23P was rerouted via Mok Cheong Street and To Kwa Wan Road.
• 2014: A new special trip on Cross-Harbour Bus Route 682P was introduced, which would return to original routing after passing through Sai Sha Road (Lee On Estate and Saddle Ridge Garden) in lieu of Kam Ying Road, which departed only at 07:20 from Wu Kai Sha Station on Mondays to Fridays.
• 2019: NWFB routes 18P, 18X and Citybus Route A12 was rerouted via Man Po Street, Yiu Sing Street, Lung Wo Road and Fenwick Pier Street after Rumsey Street Flyover towards Harcourt Road for Eastern District direction.
