Route introductions

• 1976: KMB Route 216 entered service.
• 1990: Hong Kong Island GMB Route 33A entered service.

Route cancellations

• 1997: Citybus Route 801 ceased service.
• 2003: Kowloon GMB Route 43 ceased service.

Route changes

• 1986: KMB Route 74K detoured via Tai Po Central.
• 1998: Citybus Route 10X was rerouted via Praya, Kennedy Town towards Des Voeux Road West for Admiralty (Tamar Street) direction, no longer passing through North Street, New Praya, Kennedy Town, Sands Street, Belcher's Street, Queen's Road West and Hill Road.
• 2003:
  • Circular operation on KMB Route 71K was cancelled with termini set up at Tai Wo and Tai Po KCR Station. The journey towards Tai Po KCR Station was also changed to observe Wan Tau Street first.
  • Kowloon GMB Route 43M was changed to depart from Central Park and detour via Olympic Station towards Yau Ma Tei MTR Station.
• 2013: Cross-Harbour Bus Route 373A called additionally at Tai Lam Tunnel Interchange with interchange concessions provided there; a new stop was also added at Western Harbour Crossing Toll Plaza for Wah Ming direction with a new section fare from the stop to Wah Ming.
• 2014: Departures on Cross-Harbour Bus Route 690 after 07:23 on Mondays to Saturdays, as well as whole-day from Hong Sing Garden were rerouted via Tsing Fung Street Flyover, Inner Gloucester Road and Connaught Road Central towards Central (Exchange Square), omitting Causeway Road, Leighton Road and Hennessy Road.
• 2015: Departures on Hong Kong Island GMB Route 69X after 23:30 nightly from Cyberport were rerouted via Wah Fu Estate (Wah Chui Street, Wah King Street, Wah Lam Path) in lieu of Victoria Road off Pok Fu Lam Fire Station.
• 2020: New short-working special trips on Kowloon GMB Route 69 between Laguna City and Kowloon Bay (Zero Carbon Building) during Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays were introduced.
• 2025:
  • KMB Route 272A detoured via Science Park Avenue West for Pak Shek Kok direction after peak hours on Mondays to Saturdays as well as whole-day on Sundays and Public Holidays.
  • KMB Route 272K was changed to operate during peak hours on Mondays to Saturdays.
