Route introductions[]

  • 1980: KMB Route 50S, first generation KMB Route 52S and first generation KMB Route 61S entered service.
  • 1985: Kowloon GMB routes 34M, 35 and 36 entered service.
  • 1997: KMB Route 270A and New Territories GMB Route 44 entered service.
  • 2000: Airport Express Shuttle Bus Route K6 entered service.
  • 2020: KMB Route 276C entered service.

Route cancellations[]

  • 2020: NWFB Route X15R and Cross-Harbour Bus Route H1A ceased service.

Route changes[]

  • 1968: KMB Route 6D re-entered service, but was truncated from Lai Chi Kok to Cheung Sha Wan.
  • 1980: KMB Route 70 no longer detoured via Wang Tau Hom for Sheung Shui direction.
  • 1985: Siu Hong Court termini of KMB Route 62 and KMB Route 67M was relocated to Siu Hong Road.
  • 1987: Cross-Harbour Bus Route 107 was enhanced to operate during morning to evening on weeekdays.
  • 1991: KMB Route 42B was renumbered as 42M.
  • 1997: A new special service of Cross-Harbour Bus Route 118 was introduced, departing from Heng Fa Chuen to Sham Shui Po (Yen Chow Street) during morning on Mondays to Saturdays.
  • 2014:
    • Citybus Route 97A was converted to provide service during morning and afternoon on Mondays to Fridays, as well as morning peak hours on Saturdays.
    • A new special departure at 07:45 on Citybus Route 99X departing from Ap Lei Chau Main Street detouring via Lei Tung Estate was introduced and all trips were made to omit Aberdeen Tunnel Toll Plaza.
    • The first bus of Cross-Harbour Bus Route 107 from Kowloon Bay (Enterprise Square) on weekdays was advanced to 06:10.
    • Cross-Harbour Bus Route 110 additionally called at Yiu Tung Estate Bus Terminus for Shau Kei Wan direction.
  • 2020:
    • Special services of KMB Route 69X departing from Tin Yiu was rerouted via Ping Ha Road and Hung Tin Road towards Yuen Long Highway.
    • Cross-Harbour Bus Route 603A was rerouted via Man Hong Street and King's Road at North Point.
    • NWFB Route X15 was changed to operate between Central (Star Ferry) and The Peak and no longer served Admiralty (West) for Central direction.
    • Cross-Harbour Bus Route H1 and Cross-Harbour Bus Route H2 was rerouted via Tonnochy Road, Gloucester Road, Harcourt Road Flyover to return to Connaught Road Central and no longer served Admiralty for Central (Star Ferry) direction.
  • 2025: Citybus Route 22D was enhanced to a daily, whole-day service.
