Route introductions[]

Route cancellations[]

  • 1988: KMB Route 34A ceased service.
  • 1993: KCR Bus Route 654 and the the second generation KCR Bus Route A58 ceased service.

Route changes[]

  • 1988:
    • KMB Route 34 was made to detour via Tsuen Wan Ferry.
    • KMB Route 87was made to detour via Tai Wai.
  • 1993: KMB Route 71K was converted to circular operation between Tai Wo and Tai Po Market, with detours via Ting Tai Road and Fu Heng for both directions.
  • 1994: Special services of New Territories GMB Route 87K between Kwai Fong MTR Station and Container Terminal 6 (omitting Container Terminal 4) was cancelled and replaced by new route 87A.
  • 2005: New Territories GMB Route 308A was rerouted via Tsing Yi North Coastal Road for both directions.
  • 2009: The terminus of NLB Route B2P was relocated from Tin Shui Wai Town Centre to Tin Tsz.
  • 2010: Kowloon GMB Route 6X was made to detour via Harbour Place for Tsim Sha Tsui direction.
  • 2011: KMB Route 237A was extended to Tsim Sha Tsui East (Salisbury Road).
  • 2013:
    • Evening special service departing from Wang Tai Road, Kowloon Bay on PLB Kwun Tong - Tsuen Wan Route was introduced.
    • The terminus of New Territories GMB Route 46A was relocated to King Fung Path to King Sau Lane.
  • 2015: With the opening of Tsing Sha Highway Interchange:
    • KMB routes 240X, 249X, 270B, 270P, 272P, 286C, 286X and 287X additionally called at the stop with interchange concessions by paying the fare difference being introduced.
    • KMB Route 272P was made to detour via Pak Shek Kok and rerouted via Tsing Sha Highway with terminus at Kwai Hing Station.
